Positive: Location was good, but the whole experience was overshadowed by our bad experience towards a problem that occured with the booking. If everything is working as expected, the appartment can be fine, if there is a problem, you are left alone by the company. Negative: What happened? We booked a 2-bedroom apartment with the company 2ndhomes. According to the listing, one had a double bed, the second had multiple beds. Upon arrival, it turned out that the information was false and there was only one bedroom with a double bed. Did you report it immediately? Yes, we immediately tried to make contact starting at 4:20 PM. However, the phone number provided was not answered. The agency through which the booking was arranged also tried for 6 hours from London to contact 2ndhomes. Was there at least a written response from 2ndhomes? To the numerous messages, they responded flippantly that we should please look in a storage closet for extra bedding and that one person should sleep on the couch instead of in their own bedroom. After that, all contact broke off and 2ndhomes stopped responding from the afternoon until the next morning. What happened the next day? 2ndhomes admitted the error but said they were unable to fix the problem on the 2nd day. They said they wouldn't have an available new accommodation until the 3rd day. On the 3rd day, one person from our team was able to move to a second apartment barely 1km away. What is your conclusion? When everything is in order and no mistake happens, then 2ndhomes offers good accommodations in Helsinki. When something goes wrong, then the employees of 2ndhomes do NOT leave their comfort zone and leave their customers alone with the problem. Mistakes happen, that is NOT the question here, it's only important that in the moment when this mistake is recognized, EVERYTHING is done to solve the situation, to offer a solution IMMEDIATELY, not only after 3 days when it works out without a loss for the company. I would not have expected this. Unacceptable and a reason for the 2ndhomes team to be ashamed.
